* easyjet geneva flights gear up for ski season
EasyJet has doubled flights from Geneva to Gatwick in a bid to give extra capacity in time for the ski season. From October 29 it will offer two flights a day, leaving Geneva at 10.50am and 2.35pm, and departing Gatwick at 12.25pm and 3.55pm.
* luton airport’s august capacity rises 10%
Luton airport recorded a 10% rise in passenger numbers in August, with 663,185 holidaymakers passing through its doors. Some 69% of passengers flew on scheduled flights and 31% on chartered flights. Popular destinations included Lanarca, Las Palmas, Malaga and Nice.
