* marriott to extend internet facilities
MarriottInternational is extending high-speed Internet access to more than 250 Marriott, Renaissance and Courtyard branded hotels worldwide. Installation of the service has started and will continue throughout next year. It will be available in guest rooms, meeting rooms and business centres and is 50 times faster than conventional dial-up Internet access.
* ocean club on track with renovation plans
The first phase of a £72 million renovation scheme at Sun International Hotels Ocean Club resort in The Bahamas will be completed next month. Fifty ocean front rooms and suites have been added to the existing 58 newly refurbished rooms. An 18-holegolf course will also open in December.
* ayscough strikes deal with cellhire
Ayscough Travel has appointed Cellhire to provide a mobile phone hire service to its business travel clients.
