Thai International Airways has promoted executive vice-president for customer services Bhisit Kuslasayanon to the position of president of the company. He replaces Thamoon Wanglee who retired last week.
* p&O stena line runs champagne ticket offer
P&O Stena Line will be giving away a free bottle of Lanson Black Label Champagne to passengers in the run-up to Christmas. The bubbly will be given away with every 24-hour fully flexible day-trip booking which is valid for a car and up to five people. It allows people to travel any day, any time with up to 24 hours in mainland Europe.

British Airways franchise carrier GBAirways will introduce special fares, from £119 return, to launch its scheduled service to Tenerife, which begins on October 31 – the introductory fare can be booked until this date.
