n TAMARIND COVE makes room for sports centre
Elegant Hotels has acquired enough land for a sports centre for hotel guests, opposite Tamarind Cove. Facilities will include two tennis courts, a spa, gym and aerobics studio. Completion is scheduled for later this year.
n Colony club to benefit from cosmetic upgrade
Around $200,000is to be spent on cosmetic enhancements to the Colony Club in Barbados. These will include new soft furnishings in the guestrooms, new patio furniture and new furniture in the public areas. Six mini hospitality rooms for use by clients taking late flights have already opened.
n crystal cove adds new children’s club and gym
Crystal Cove has added a new kids’ club for children aged between three and 13 which operates from 9am to 9pm. A new gym has also been opened at the property.
