IT SEEMS the directors of Going Places are still trying to convince staff that the departure of managing director Terry Fisher, currently on sick leave, is “entirely speculative”.

In response to articles in Travel Weekly, employees received a mafia-style note from “the directors”, saying: “This story is entirely speculative … if we ever have anything of this magnitude and importance to announce, you will hear it from the company before reading it in the travel press.”

That will be a first, then.
