Getting his teeth into the whingers
Airtours Holidays and UKLG distribution managing director Richard Carrick has been taking flack for his comments about whingers (Travel Weekly October 9).
To illustrate his point, he mentioned a complaint from one elderly woman who was sick into a bag on a coach. She then threw the bag away. A month later the woman tried to claim compensation for the loss of her false teeth. “These people are a minority, but a growing minority,” said Carrick.
