Group opens new £6m Belfast executive wing
HASTINGS Hotels Group has opened a £6 million executive bedroom wing at the four-star Europa Hotel in Belfast, adding a further 56 rooms to the city-centre property.
Hastings Hotels managing director Howard Hastings said: “This level of investment has shown a major vote of confidence in the local hospitality market.
“The investment in the Europa is part of the group’s £12 million commitment over the next year to bring the local market and visitors bigger, better and more luxurious hotel facilities that will be able to compete in a global market.
“It also demonstrates our commitment to the Northern Ireland economy with work carried out by local contractors and newly commissioned paintings by various artists throughout the region.”
The new executive bedrooms are equipped with the latest ISDNand computer technology plus a dedicated work-desk, king-size bed, electronic safe, walk-in shower with an Italian marble-finished bathroom.
Prices for the executive wing cost £145 for a single room and £165 for a double room.
