Virgin Atlantic to buy six new A3XX

VIRGIN Atlantic has signed a £2.6 billion deal with Airbus
Industrie to buy six A3XX aircraft.

The new aircraft will allow Virgin to extend its route
network and increase frequency and capacity to existing destinations.

They will be delivered from 2006 and there is an option in
the deal for the airline to buy another six A3XX.

Virgin Atlantic currently has a fleet of 32 aircraft and
flies to 20 destinations.
