Easyjet scraps Luton to Liverpool service

Report by Lee Winter

EASYJET is scrapping its daily service between Liverpool and
Luton Airport from the end of March 2001.

The budget airline blames increased landing charges at Luton
for its decision claiming the extra cost will make the route commercially unviable.

Easyjet will continue to operate three daily flights between
the two airports until March 31 when its Winter timetable ends.
