Strike disrupts Aer Lingus flights

Report by John Lavabre

AER Lingus has been forced to cancel a number of flights
today following industrial action by the IMPACT trade union.

The Irish airline is running just a fraction of its normal
services and six flights will also be cancelled tomorrow.

The strike has been called following a pay dispute between
IMPACT, which represents pilots, cabin crew and middle management, and Aer
Lingus.
