LONDON-BASED Florida specialist Zak Travel has ceased
trading.
The company, which deals in scheduled flights and
package holidays to the US sunshine state, has had its Air Travel Organisers
License bond of £141,750 called by the Civil Aviation Authority. The CAA says
Zak travel clients currently abroad will be able to continue their holidays and
fly home as planned. Those travelers who booked flight-only trips and already
have their tickets will also be entitled to travel.
Customers due to travel on package
holidays after March 26 have been told not to travel to their departure
airports and to claim a refund from the CAA. Refund forms are currently being
sent out to those affected.
