SUNDIAL Holidays is offering newly recruited call-centre staff a basic salary of £9,000 with the opportunity to boost earnings to an average of £15-£16,000.
Managing director Steve Endacott is planning to recruit up to 200 call-centre staff for its first site, which will be based in Manchester.
The centre will open on December 1 in time for the peak booking season.
He said the top sellers could earn up to £20-25,000 annual salary.
“It is all about the quality of staff. I am spending £1m in advertising to make sure I get the right staff who can close the sale.”
Staff recruited to handle Walt Disney’s bookings will get two weeks’ on-site training in Florida as well as five weeks’ training in the UK.
A further 800 staff will be recruited over the next five years for four other call centres around the country.
