Malaysia Airlines adds extra weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur
MALAYSIA Airlines is adding an extra four weekly flights from the UK to Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
The carrier will add two extra flights from London Heathrow from June 2, and another two from September 11, bringing the number of weekly flights on the Heathrow-Kuala Lumpur route to 18. The airline already has three flights per week from Manchester.
Malaysia Airlines European vice-president Ahmad Fuaad Dahlan said: “These new flights complement our current schedule. They also offer excellent connections to our onward flights throughout Asia and Australasia.”
The flights will depart Heathrow on Saturdays and Sundays – at 9.30pm, arriving the next day at 4.40pm. The return flight will leave the Malaysian capital at 9.10am and arrives in London at 3.10pm. The new flights will be launched with a special Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur fare of £399 return, only bookable through travel agents for departures during June.
