If the fast rides are a little too slow for your liking, this is the place to go. Daredevils (over the age of 16) are kitted out in a helmet and fireproof overalls before taking on the Walt Disney World speedway track.

Most people realise what they’re in for the moment they enter the car Dukes of Hazzard-style through the window.

The five-minute trip will quite literally take your breath away – the car touches speeds of 145mph.

If you are braver still, you can opt for the rookie experience. A three-hour training programme where you can drive the car under instruction. For this, you must be 18 or over and bring your drivers license along.
