PRICELINE Europe will tomorrow launch a ten week long
advertising campaign to raise awareness of its website.
The campaign, which features television personality Johnny
Ball, will focus on London, which has proved to be a strong market for Priceline.
Advertisements will appear in both London-based and national
newspapers. Radio advertisements will also make up part of the campaign.
Meanwhile Priceline is also looking to attract more
hoteliers to sell via its website.
Chief marketing officer Earl Quenzel said: “We are looking
for more quality hotel partners, both groups and independents, to help us keep
pace with our consumer demand.”
Priceline, which launched back in February, allows consumers
to name the price they want to pay for their goods. When visiting the site they
make an offer and leave their credit card details. If the offer is accepted, the
goods are automatically purchased.
