New technology: all meeting rooms now have digital projectors and plasma screens, ISDN facilities, on-site video-conferencing technology and motorised blinds and screens.
Refurbishment of main public areas: the main dining room, bar area and front hall have all been upgraded inkeeping with the character of the hotel.
investment of £2.7 million in the Club and Spa: the two-storey facility now offers a 20-metre lap pool and leisure pool, a fully-equipped gym and health suite. The spa has 10 treatment rooms, sauna, steam room and hydrotherapy.
