&#42 meeting to discuss future of tourism

More than 30 tourism industry chiefs will meet in London on Wednesday to discuss the future of UK tourism. Representatives from the British Tourist Authority, English Tourism Council, British Incoming Tour Operators Association, attractions and hotels will meet Tessa Jowell and Kim Howells to addressproblems associated with standards in the industry, training and recruitment as well as the foot and mouth crisis and terrorist attacks.

&#42 renaissance guests given alternative tours

Renaissance Cruises guests booked on cancelled itineraries are being snapped up by Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. UK guests booked on the cruiseline are being offered on-board credit if they book an alternative with Royal Caribbean or Celebrity by October 31.
