Portuguese tourism numbers continue to increase with early numbers showing 11.6m tourists visited in 1999. The UK inbound market is expected to show an increase of 3%-5% on the 1.65m who visited in 1998. Hotel capacity increased 4.8% over 1998.

Beanoland is opening at Chessington World of Adventures from April 5 to October 29. The park includes theme rides, shows and interactive water features with 9.30am through 1pm daily reserved exclusively for families.
