hotel companies expand airport offering

RADISON SAS has signed a deal with BAA Lynton, property
development arm of BAA, to build a four star hotel at Stansted airport.

Radisson will invest £40 million in the hotel, which will
have 500 beds and is expected to open for business by the end of 2003.

In a separate development, Jarvis Hotels is to operate two
properties at Glasgow airport on behalf of Tonstate Glasgow Airport. One
property will feature 108 rooms and operate under the Marriott International
Ramada name while the second property will feature 98 rooms and will be aimed
at the budget market, although it is not yet known what brand it will adopt.

Both hotels will open in early 2002.
