BRITISH Airways has adopted the Amadeus sales system,
replacing the 30 year-old British Airways Booking System.

In total 48,190 terminals and 723 printers migrated to
Amadeus, along with 2.5 million passenger names and booking records.

The migration has taken two years to plan. The airline hopes
it will simplify bookings and help it cut costs.
