lastminute.com targets group travel market

LASTMINUTE.COM has launched a promotion with the aim of
encouraging groups of friends to travel together.

The leisure and travel website has introduced a new section
to its website called ‘friends specials’ that features holidays, weekends breaks
and flights at discounted prices. There are also hotel rooms and theatre
tickets offered at four for the price of three.

The aim is to drive sales in a slow period, increase
passenger volumes and enhance relationships with Lastminute’s suppliers.
