AGENTS will now be able to book tickets for low-cost carrier
Go through the Galileo global distribution system.
Go is the only low-cost carrier to use the GDS, after
Ryanair stopped selling through the trade last year, (Travel Weekly, October
8).
Tickets for domestic flights will be the first to be sold
through Galileo, with European destinations to follow next month.
Head of sales Oliver Wigdahl said: “Our relationship with the
trade is very important to us and we are delighted to be able to work more
closely with them.”
Agents will be free to mark up fares, and will not have to
pay credit card fees.
