Royal plans Toronto service

ROYALAirlines launches flights from Bristol International Airport to Toronto on June 24.

The Airbus A310 service will be the first long-haul flight from the airport’s new terminal.

Services are weekly on Saturdays and operate via Glasgow. Further connections are available from Toronto.

Royal will offer complimentary drinks before meals, free headsets and extra baggage allowances.

Bristol’s managing director John Parkin said the airport had lobbied long-haul carriers hard to get more destinations following the opening of the new £27m terminal. The facility opens in March.

Plans are already in place for additional European flights.
