P&O
Travel has appointed former American Express chief Alan Coles as managing
director, following the departure of Tony Hughes.
Coles
was previously vice-president head of travel service network Europe at American
Express.
Hughes
left P&O in February to take up the role of president and chief executive
of US-based travel company Radius.
Martyn
Lloyd stepped in as acting managing director in the interim and has now
returned to his role as finance and systems IT director.
Coles will report to P&O Travel chairman Gwyn
Hughes.
