SPECIALIST
Holidays Group staff have expressed shock at the sudden departure of managing
director Kevin Ivie.
Ivie, who
started at SHG, part of TUI Northern Europe, in March 2001, is now on gardening
leave.
Officially TUI
said he would leave in 2003 to develop “other business interests”.
Ivie,
previously managing director of specialist businesses at First Choice, was
hired to reorganise the specialist brands under the one division.
TUI Northern
Europe chief financial officer Will Waggott stands in for Ivie until a
replacement is found.
