EXECUTIVES
of Worldchoice and the Travel Trust Association have been blasted by members
after it emerged their new alliance was created without any consultation at
grass-roots level.
Although
few members have expressed outright opposition to the tie-up, informally known
as the Independent Travel Agents Alliance, some feel they should have been
consulted before it was formally agreed.
But
TTA director Todd Carpenter said he would write to members telling them exactly
what the alliance meant and in which areas the consortia would work together.
