Hilton boss Harris dies

HILTON International has announced the death of chief
executive Anthony Harris.

Harris, who was 46, died of cancer after a six-month battle.

He had been at the hotel chain for 22 years, having first
started at the London Hilton. He worked for various Hilton hotels, as well as
Ciga Hotels, ITT Sheraton and Stakis, before joining Hilton International in
1999 as managing director for the UK and Ireland and then becoming chief
executive.
