P&O Princess Cruises has confirmed the departure of executive
vice-president Gwyn Hughes.
As predicted in this week’s Travel Weekly, Hughes will leave
on April 7 after 20 years with the company.
Hughes said the planned merger of P&O Princess with
Carnival presented him with an opportunity to leave.
“I have spent 20 happy and fulfilling years with a company
that has been transformed during the period. For some time I have wanted to do
something different,” he said.
