T&T TRAINING Solutions has joined forces with the Guild of Travel Management Companies to launch a work placement scheme.
The scheme will enable candidates who have completed fares, ticketing and booking courses to get a placement with a member of the GTMC and gain experience of working in a business travel agency.
To qualify, candidates must have passed the paper fares and ticketing course VA1 and VA2, the electronic fares and ticketing course GA1 and GA2, and the Sabre and Galileo booking courses. Each course takes five days to complete.
The Sabre course, Sabre Live, is a new addition to T&T Training’s portfolio and allows candidates to make bookings on a live system. The bookings are then wiped clean at the end of the training session.
Sales director Jason Blayne said: “Sabre Live means that GTMC members are more interested in offering placements as the candidates will be familiar with Sabre and Galileo booking tools.”
