ISLAND Cruises has launched its second-edition summer 2007 brochure, which has been redesigned to make the booking process simpler.
Destinations have been given greater emphasis and prices for the cruise and hotel elements of cruise-and-stay packages are quoted separately.
Marketing director Andy Furlong said the changes will help agents new to Island Cruises through the booking process and give customers greater flexibility when planning their holiday.
“We want Island Cruises to be booked by as many agents as possible. Even if agents have made bookings with other cruiselines we want them to go through the brochure as easily as possible.
“Cruise-and-stay is very popular but people get confused. The price of packages can be quite difficult to fathom and they aren’t as popular as they used to be.
“What this gives the customer is the chance to look at our price, see what they can get elsewhere and decide how long they want to be away for.”
The brochure includes new photography using genuine guests and not actors and includes a colour-coded gatefold with a step-by-step guide to the booking process.
The brochure features Island Escape and the cruiseline’s new ship Island Star, which was launched in March.
Bookings taken before October 31 on Island Escape will receive a free all-inclusive drinks package.
Guests will also receive 50% off a premium cabin upgrade on Island Star, meaning a cabin with a balcony will only cost £25 extra per person per night.
Prices lead in at £499 for a seven-night Mediterranean cruise.
