Accommodation-only supplier Hotels4u.com has announced a record pre-tax profits of more than £3 million in its third year of operation.
In a statement issued today the company said it has grown business by nearly 80% in what has been a “challenging year when many new companies entered the sector”.
Having transformed its business model in recent days to act as a principal taking on the repsonsibilities of a traditional tour operator, the firm said it is well placed to expand substantially over the next 12 months.
Forward sales for Winter 2006 and Summer 2007 are 147% up on the same time last year.
“Total focus on the sector has resulted in a very impressive result and the company is perfectly positioned to expand its business substantially in the next twelve month,” the statement said.
