SWISSAIR owner’s SAirGroup has now formally concluded its minority stake purchases in both South African Airways and LOTPolish Airlines.
The Swiss group now owns 20% of SAA and 37.6% of LOT.
SAirGroup has pledged to expand its African services in partnership with SAA.
Swissair will also continue to explore the possibility of expansion into central and eastern European through using LOT’s Warsaw hub.
