Accommodation-only firm Seligo has joined ABTA.
The moves follows the company’s u-turn last November when it reverted back to being a principal after acting as an agent for around a year.
Managing director Diane Mosson said joining ABTA reiterates the firm’s commitment to the trade.
Mosson slammed some of Seligo’s accommodation-only rivals that have failed to “keep their word” over becoming principals and in turn taking legal responsibility for clients in-resort.
She urged agents to check all accommodation-only firm’s booking conditions.
“We know a lot of travel agents continue to book non-principals and indeed non-ABTA members,” she said.
