SeaDream’s UK bonanza

SeaDream Yacht Club has reported record sales in the UK since the launch of its 2007/08 brochure two weeks ago. In the first week the operator took over $1 million in bookings with Croatia, Rome to Venice and Greek islands voyages proving popular as well as new longer nine-night Caribbean sailings.

Island Cruises adds regional choice

Island Cruises has added a direct Leeds Bradford flight to Palma for summer 2007. The flight will be on Tuesdays from May 1 to October 23 for cruises on Island Escape for Mediterranean cruises leading in at £518 per person. The cruiseline now offers flights from 20 regional airports.

Carnival Cruise Lines names giants

Carnival Cruise Lines has announced its two 3,650-passenger new superliners are to be called Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic. The two ships will enter service in 2009 and 2011 respectively and be the largest in the operator’s fleet. Carnival has four new ships on order including Carnival Freedom, which will debut on March 4.

Cadogan Holidays takes it to the river

Cadogan Holidays has launched its first cruise programme, in partnership with Viking River Cruises. There are 13 itineraries on Viking’s four and five-star ships with destinations including Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Moscow and Beijing.
