Virgin Atlantic Airways and All Nippon Airways in seat deal – 26 Mar 2007

Virgin Atlantic Airways and All Nippon Airways have extended their combination fares to include premium economy and first class seats.

From April 1 this year, Virgin Atlantic and ANA fares will be extended after previously offering just economy class.

A range of joint round the world fares, that were announced by both airlines last September, will also be extended to cover premium economy class in addition to business and economy classes.

Virgin Atlantic’s commercial director Wily Boulter said the two airlines will be working closer in many areas.

He said: “We are delighted to be signing an alliance agreement with ANA which will enable both carriers to start working closer together in many areas of the business, including airport and inflight services, and hope this will pave the way to a possible codeshare agreement in the future.”

By the end of the year an e-ticket agreement will also be available, allowing passengers to combine Virgin Atlantic flights and ANA flights in the same e-ticket.
