Cosmos Tourama has introduced a half-board,15-day air/coach escorted package called The Grand Tour of Spain. Departures are weekly from April 1-November 25 2000 with flights from up to 12 London-area and regional airports. Prices lead in at £689 and tour highlights include Madrid, Barcelona, Granada, San Sebastian, Saragossa and Jerez.

Thomson features stays in the Balearic Islands next summer in its debut Sports Resorts programme for 2000. Prices range from £225 for each of six adults sharing a two-bedroom apartment on Minorca for one week, or from £299 for seven nights’ half-board twinshare at Playa d’en Bossa on Ibiza.

Magic of Spain has added more private villas with pools in the northern part of Majorca and in Nerja in Andalucia. Summer prices at the new Majorca villas start at £399 per person based on four sharing and including flights and car.

Bridge Travel Service has added San Sebastian, Bilbao and Cordoba to its new City Breaks programme. It has also increased hotel capacity in Barcelona. Two-night breaks in the resort town of San Sebastian cost from £354 including scheduled flights and bed and breakfast accommodation.
