Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has created a new add-on package of lectures, entertainment and exclusive excursions on selected cruises on Black Watch in 2007/08.
The ‘Civilisations’ package will debut on an eight-night Celts and Vikings Norway cruise leaving Dover on July 7 costing an additional £399 per person on top of the £865 per- person price of the cruise.
Experts in Viking and Norse history and concert pianist Simon Dunbavand will host the Civilisations guests on the cruise that will be themed around the Edvard Grieg Centenary and Nordic history.
A further four Civilisations packages are available for sailings in July, September, December and March 2008.
Civilisations guests will receive a luxury journal documenting their cruise. They must be booked before boarding and the price varies depending on the length of the cruise.
