Southall Travel is enhancing its back-office systems in order to build stronger relationships with travel agent partners.
David Holland, newly appointed sales director to Southall’s operator division The Holiday Team, said the company is looking to sell more through agents, initially focusing on increasing flight bookings, and then making its accommodation and tour operation product available.
In order to do so he is holding a month’s consultation with selected agencies to ensure the back office systems meet their needs.
He said: “We have a very strong back office and documentation system and I’ll be using that in The Holiday Team after we’ve made enhancements to make it more relevant to our agent partners.”
Holland said he would initially work with a few agencies but aims to form partnerships with conference and event organisers as well as specialist operators in the future.
