The Hotel Booking Agents Association has appointed former chairman Peter Ducker as its new executive director.
Ducker, who was founding chairman of the HBAA in 1997, will work alongside the association’s executive committee and will oversee the secretariat, based in Cheltenham.
He said: “I am delighted to be taking up a prominent position within the organisation once again. I look forward to continuing the hard work and efforts of the HBBA committee, members and partners as we look forward to our tenth year celebration.”
Last month tragedy struck the HBAA when its chairman, Tim Gasson, was killed in a car crash.
Gasson, 40, had become chairman at the beginning of the year.
