Julia Kemp, Avis head of UK leisure sales, has been promoted as part of a restructure at the car hire company.
Kemp has taken on the new post of director of partnerships and leisure sales for Europe after four years in the UK sales role.
In the past the company has had separate roles for partnerships and leisure sales, the latter of which was held by Tom Knopek before his departure last year.
The new role manages all of Avis Europe’s leisure business and key partnerships and aims to increase the focus on its European business.
Meanwhile, leisure sales manager Lisa McAuley, who has been with the company for about six years, has now
become head of UK leisure sales. Meanwhile, leisure sales manager Tracy Smith has become interim head of European leisure sales on a maternity cover position to help Kemp in her new position. Kemp is now based at the company’s Bracknell headquarters.
