Hilton Hotels Corporation has sold the Caledonian Hilton Edinburgh hotel for £51.7 million.
The hotel chain has sold the 251-room property to The Caledonian Operating Company, which has agreed an investment of £13.5 million to maintain the listed building, which was opened in 1903.
The deal was funded by the Bank of Scotland. Hilton will retain a long-term management contract for the hotel.
