Nearly three quarters of Travel Counsellors agents have grown their earnings by using the company’s dynamic packaging system Phenix, the company’s annual survey has revealed.
Launched in 2005, the system can boost an agent’s commission by an average of 7%, it said. A further 11% of agents said their earnings stayed the same but would have decreased without Phenix.
Managing director Steve Byrne said: “The system allows agents to be a lot more competitive with a bigger margin in the process.”
The survey also showed that agents left their previous jobs because of the convenience of working from home, to spend more time with family and to escape inflexible hours. A total of 94% said they are happier now than in their previous job.
