Americas4u launches cruise website

Travel Weekly cruise club agency Americas4u has launched a website that includes cruise offers and information.

The Hove-based call centre has gone live with the site, click4holiday.co.uk, and directors Andrew Winstanley and Rob Jones are in the process of planning marketing and customer mail-outs to promote its services.

The agency planned to launch a dedicated cruise site, click4cruise.co.uk, but this has been put back temporarily.

However, Winstanley said cruise has become vital to the business, which used to be predominantly US and Caribbean sales. “We want to let customers know about this new site.

“One thing that has been great is that we have been able to boost our cruise knowledge so much.

“Click4holiday.co.uk has a cruise section that features itineraries, deck plans, maps and ship descriptions.

“We have got to work on pricing.”

He said the bespoke cruise site should be up and running by the end of the year.

Winstanley also said he is interested in joining the Association of Cruise Experts steering committee later this year.

Meanwhile, fellow Travel Weekly cruise club member Andrew Fox visited Dover this week to see Oceania Cruises’ Regatta.

The Future Travel homeworker said: “It is a fantastic ship and I am interested in selling Oceania.”
