CLUB Travel 2000 has bolstered its flight-only programme by increasing its number of licensed passengers by 92%.
The operator’s Air Travel Organiser’s Licence now allows the company to carry almost 135,000.
Sales and marketing director Ian Scott, launching its new flight-only programme, said it is benefiting from the consolidation of the major players.
“The vertically integrated operators are contracting their capacity and reducing seat availability outside their own tour operating programmes,” he said. “The near doubling of our ATOL has come about purely because of strong demand among independent agents.”
Club has introduced Palma, Faro and Mahon to the programme and launched new routes from Newcastle to Malaga and Bournemouth to Tenerife.
Capacity has also been expanded from Glasgow and Humberside.
The Glasgow to Las Palmas and Humberside to Tenerife routes have been extended from peak to full season.
Carriers includes Sabre, JMC, Air 2000, Monarch and Britannia.
A new flex-ticket has also been launched, offering open returns on routes to Tenerife from Gatwick and Manchester.
Prices lead in at £109 for a seven or 14-night fare to Las Palmas from Manchester.
