Qantas has increased its total aircraft orders to A$35bn ($31.6bn) based on list prices after agreeing to buy up to 188 narrow body aircraft from Airbus and Boeing to support its expansion plans in Australia and Asia.


Eurostar is hoping to expand its services in continental Europe to Amsterdam, Cologne and other destinations following Wednesday’s launch of high-speed services from London’s refurbished St Pancras International station.


Delta Air Lines, under pressure from a large investor to combine with rival United Airlines, has formed a special committee to review strategic options, including a possible merger.
