Teleticket updates Agents’ Charter

Flight consolidator Teleticket is updating its Agents’ Charter in a bid to help agents increase their earnings.

The new “Value Fares Agents’ Charter” has been developed from the original Agents Charter launched in 2006. It promises all inclusive pricing, free of charge amendments on Value Fare bookings outside eight weeks of departure and free name changes for Value Fare bookings up to four weeks before departure.

There will also be no premium lines for agents Monday to Friday between 9am and 5.30pm, no online discounts for direct bookings, no fuel supplements and free meals and snacks when provided by the airline.

Teleticket managing director Neil Chapman said: “The charter will deliver even greater efficiencies and savings to the agents, while continuing to give the trade the chance to increase their earnings as all of Teleticket’s Value Fares are commissionable.”

Meanwhile, Teleticket is to launch a range of new routes and airlines as Super Value fares in the new year. These will be non-commissionable.
