Holiday Taxis integrates domestic and overseas transfer bookings

Transfer specialist Holiday Taxis is to offer agents the opportunity to book domestic and overseas taxi transfers in one booking.

The move follows its acquisition of domestic transfer specialist where2guv.com earlier this year. Until now agents have booked the two brands separately. Chief executive Paul Stanyer said: “Agents will be able to book both under one reference number.”

It is already working on integrating the technology of Holiday Taxis and where2guv.com to create an improved selling system.

The company expects to handle two million customers next year. From January it will operate in 72 countries, increasing to 100 by the middle of next year. Transfers will also be offered at most European ports for cruise-and-stay holidays.

This month sees the roll-out of a premier service, offering upgraded vehicles and extras such as newspapers and water, across its Mediterranean destinations. The service has been trialled in Nice, France.

A one-way premier transfer from Nice airport to Cannes is £82.
