Dynamic packaging company Vacenza.com has introduced express transfers to reduce the time spent travelling to and from airports.
The first Mini Shuttle Express services are now operating from Gerona airport to the resorts of Malgrat, Santa Susanna, Pineda, Calella and Lloret de Mar. Prices for a place on the 14-seater minibuses start from £10.50 each way.
There are plans to extend the service to other destinations in 2008.
The move comes after customers named travelling to and from the airport among the negative aspects of their holiday.
Vacenza.com transfers manager Robert Brown said: “This will allow holidaymakers to benefit from a quick departure with fewer drop-offs, so they arrive in resorts faster and at a great price.”
