Travel industry veteran Bill Maxwell is to join transfer company Resorthoppa as a consultant as it targets rapid growth.
The company is also bolstering its sales and marketing team with the appointment of Joanne Lynam and Kim Bradley.
The changes follow the recent appointment of Paul Cowley as sales and marketing director.
Maxwell sits on ABTA’s code of conduct committee, ABTA’s members committee and the UK tourism advisory committee. He is also a director of the Institute of Travel and Tourism. He has more than 30 years’ industry experience and has held senior roles at the Wallace Arnold Group and National Bus Company before becoming consultant adviser at Cadogan Holidays.
Cowley said: “We believe Bill’s impressive experience will be of huge assistance as we continue to rapidly grow Resorthoppa in 2008.”
Meanwhile, Bradley has joined from Thomas Cook and Lynam has joined after completing a BA Honours degree in tourism business management.
Venture capitalists Close Ventures recently acquired a £2.1 million shareholding in the company.
