Some destinations are not only ideal for cruising, a cruise is actually the only way to go.
Take Antarctica, Alaska or the Galapagos islands, for example – the only way to get to these fabulous remote spots is by sea, and passengers will certainly need the cruiseline’s organised tours once they get there.
Sell these destinations and you’re selling a cruise – and we all know that most cruiselines pay higher commission than landbased operators, work closer with agents and attract loyal customer bases.
So don’t miss our section of some of the world’s great long-haul adventure spots and the cruiselines that plough through their waters.
Back-issues of TWcruise complete with our Caribbean, Mediterranean, Northern Europe and Asia/Australasia databases can all be downloaded from travelweeekly.co.uk/supplements, giving you a guide to the world’s ports that, like the destinations themselves, is second to none.
